Why is there an $100 charge for leased equipment the month of instillation? Will this be a monthly charge? I don't recall ever recall being required to by $100 for "leased" equipment in the past.

Will the DISASTER my home was left in and the tech telling me 'I NEEDED TO RUN THE WIRES MYSELF AND USE MY OWN COAX"... I had wires hanging from the ceiling, boxes and plastic left laying in 4 rooms, disconnected receivers that he didn't call for the return tags, the coax was left wrapped around the computer desk so that the computer chair would roll over it every time you used the computer.

The tech was too busy talking to his wife during the service call. He also wanted to get home to a steak dinner... But i told him when he arrived that i needed to leave at 5:30 for an annual recognition meal for my job. Because of him not getting the equipment installed properly and arguing with me about use of the Sling to access my iPad/computer... It was 6:30pm when he left me with the MESS & neither my iPad/computer were working to be anle to receive Dish Online. Remember, he needed to get to his steak! With me cutting the hole larger in the drywall, moving all storage bins to gain access so i could run the wire, helping him locate the wire for one bedroom and the amount of time i spent explaining how the SLING worked and why he needed to have it connected to the equipment... I couldn't even go to the recognition dinner late because i had no time to even do my hair, shower, makeup or get dressed!!! But he made it back to his steak!

When i called him about the old receivers - he stated, "oh yea, i guess i forgot to take care of that. Just call dish and tell them what you need."

I've had some type of DISH equipment since 2002. This is not how to treat customers!

I have called DISH 3 times since he left on Wednesday, 7/18.1st - to get my iPad up and running with the Sling properly hooked up. 2nd - to get return tags for the disconnected receivers. 3rd - to request someone come back and at least get the wires hooked up so i don't choke myself when i try to do wash. (i've already disconnected and reconnected the wire at the computer area so i could use the chair without running over the wire and pulling my modem across the floor when the chair hit the wire.) and i also requested compensation for my frustration... I was told that i would be cetting a credit for 1 month%u2019s service. She offered my 'blockbuster at home" free for 3 months... But nothing else. No free movie rentals... No waving of this $100 fee...

This is not how to treat loyal customers! The more i think about the situation, the madder i am getting.

I SHOULD HAVE VIDEO RECORDED THE TECH TALKING ON HIS PHONE AND THE WAY HE LEFT MY HOME and posted on the internet. Maybe then i would get your attention. Although i needed to clean up the mess before my husband got upset - i did take pictures the next morning that show the wires hanging from the ceiling from a number of spots in the laundry room. Should i post that with this story?

Remember the old saying - when something is good, you tell around 4 people - when something is bad, you tell 10. Well i am over 10 and not counting...

What would make me happy?

I given this a lot of thought...

Ether a year%u2019s worth of free programming service at the level we currently have (250) or let, say, 36-48 free movie rentals w 24 month expiration date... Not the 3-6 months, we have received in the past.
