I made an appointment to have my car title notarized at Bank of America. My appointment was for 3:30, and I was there at 3:30 sharp. The woman took my paperwork and strolled around the office, poking her head into every office she passed. About 10 minutes later, she told me I was required to fill out the top part, which I did, and then waited another 10 minutes for her to reappear and take my paperwork again. She disappeared for another 5 minutes, only to tell me she would not notarize it because I didn’t know the mileage to the exact number.
I used to be a notary, and the only thing she is affirming is that I am the owner of the car and signed it in front of her. It was a complete waste of my time, and now I have tow truck companies coming in the morning to pick up cars that I can’t give them titles for because of a poor excuse for a notary. Very unprofessional.
