BLACK PEPPER

I recently purchased 9 bottles of black pepper at The Dollar Store. My husband gas always used a lot of pepper I had used. His face was solid wet from perspiring. I put someone my finger to check it and found it to be really spicey hot. Now I a stuck with 9 bottles of pepper. I am 70 years old and have never had pepper like this. What's up with this?
