I know this is standard practice but charging service fees on an un-used gift card is absolutely rediculous.By doing this they get paid, not only for the gift card purchase but taking out $3.00 per month on a prepaid gift card until the card total is completely exhausted is just authorized theft in my opinion. This place took out monthly "service fees" against a gift card that was purchased from them and within 5 months the balance ended at $0.00 so they get paid twice to do absolutely nothing.
This is just plain wrong! I contacted them and was told it is standard practice and is in the fine print but beyond that they could care less about anyone except their own yearly bonus. 200% return on an investment is really good for them. If you have a pre-paid card with this company I suggest you use it as soon as possible before they take it all back. I will never deal with this company again and I suggest that anyone reading this post does the same. My son's gift card was anything but substantial but when we found out that the bank it was purchased from had turned around and taken it all back with "service fees" I was livid and with their response when I contaced them, I will never do business with them again.
