Gift Card Purchased With $0 balance when ready to use - gift card

I have been in contact with the service department with deaf ears, I now have no choice, but to go public to the TV to get this situation resolved. Hollister has my $50.00 and my granddaughter received a gift card for Christmas with a zero balance. The gift card was purchased at the Hollister store at the Richland Mall in Mansfield on 12/17, and was mailed in a Christmas card to out granddaughter in Federal Way, Wa. She went to the store and chose the items she wanted to purchase and presented the gift card as payment and was embarassed and humiliated to find out the card had a zero balance. I have given Ashley and Christina the information from the receipt and my credit card to validate the gift card was purchased and not stolen. Our son even went to the store, after our garanddaughter was told the gift card had a zero balance, went the store kept the gift card and would not return it to my granddaughter and son. It has been a month as of 01/17, and I feel this issue should be resolved. I have received only one rely instructing me to supply the date of purchas and the gift card # which was on the receipt, all has been done and still have not received a gift card for $50.00, or any other comunication with Hollister. I had purchased gift cards for our granddaughter's Christmas for the past 3 years. I will be telling all of my friends and co-workers of this treatment from Hollister. TV is next. Barbara Godfrey
