My complaint is regarding the checkout process. I asked for my receipt and at first received one with my $65.00 room charge on it. I reminded the person I had a pet, so he had to redo the receipt, and the new receipt only had the pet charge - he took the original receipt back from me and said, "I can't let you have this one, I'm not supposed to." I was given no reason I couldn't get my room receipt, but I did receive my $20 pet receipt.
After reading other reviews, it appears this place will add charges to your room receipt after you leave, citing things like room damage. I find it suspicious what happened with my checkout, and I will be checking my bank statements about this.
The accommodations were also not accommodating at all. No ice - only one machine on floor 2, and it was empty. My wife and I each took showers about 15-20 minutes apart; mine started warm at 6:45 am and within 3-4 minutes turned cool, then unshowerably cold. Hers, around 6:20, was 100 percent cold from the start.
At breakfast, the juice machine did not work at all, with no substitutions, and the milk on offer was 2% and no longer good to taste. So besides coffee there was nothing to drink. We are not high-maintenance people, but I think anyone would agree these things are not acceptable for a hotel.
I'll also note that the address on my receipt was incorrect, though the check-in staff member who took my ID was very nice. I appreciate your consideration with this.
