A $25.00 gift card was given to me on 12/25/07 as a Christmas gift. I had not used the card since that date. On 5/15/09 I went on line to check the card balance and was told that because of monthly fees that there was only a $ 00.25 balance left on the card. This is a total rip off to the consumer. I contacted the customer service dept. At the netspend corporation to request them to restore my account and they refused to do this. If they are going to be able to do this they should have information on the gift card that is legible and easy to read so that this information is easily available for the consumer to read, instead of just ripping the consumer off.
