I returned a computer within best buys 14 return policy. The computer was never even unpacked. The box was opened by an employee! They charged me a $271.37 restocking charge.
Customer service does not answer emails. I called their corp. Office in MN. The person there told me that he had the authority to credit it back to me, but he would not (!), that I had to speak to the store mgr. I was told the store mgr. Would call me. There was no call!
I called best buys credit card, which I took at the time to get the 1 year interest free terms. I explained the situation to a customer serve rep. She told me that she could not help me. I told her that I was not going to pay the charge. She told me "fine, you'll ruin your credit"
Two things need to be done: 1. A class action lawsuit 2. An email campaign exposing best buy.
I hope thst we get the word out.
