I moved into an apartment complex that would not allow me to install DirecTv. The first time I called in (before I moved) I was told by one agent that I would not be charged an early cancellation fee due to the fact that I was not able to move the DirecTv with me. The next agent I talked to after I moved was amazingly rude and told me that I would be charged $180 to cancel the service. A week later the next girl I spoke to told me that it would be a $200 charge. I don't know how it went up over time but I told her to just cancel the dang thing and gave her my CC number. Well not only did she never charge the card (which messed up my finances) but then I got a bill for $263. This is absolutely ridiculous when I was promised I would not have to pay anything!
