DirecTV incorrect information re early cancellation

I moved and decided I did not want to finish my contract with DirecTV. I understand there is a cancellation charge and I am more than willing to pay it... BUT, I was told one amount when I called to cancel and received a bill for almost $50 more. If you call these people, you will get a different answer EVERY TIME YOU CALL FOR THE SAME ISSUE. I will be SOOO happy to NEVER have to deal with this company again... EVER!!! AND, when I called to cancel my service they informed me that I needed to return ALL the boxes I had or I would be charged for each one not returned. Not a problem, what in heaven's name would I do with them? They send me ONE corrugated box that holds 2 boxes to return 5 of their boxes. When I called today to complain about the billing I mentioned I only received one box to return 5 boxes. THIS person tells me that I only need to return 2 boxes. REALLY??? And, if I did that, I'd be charged for the others. I told her NOOOO, I was returning them ALL. She told me I could trust that SHE was giving me correct information... That's what ALL the other DirecTV reps said about the information THEY were giving me. See what I mean???
