Went on a camping trip and my old airbed pump quit working so I drove over an hour roundtrip to buy a new one. I bought the 24in Intex airbed, aired it up and when I went to bed later that night the bed kept wanting to tip every time I rolled over, and same with my husband. I thought maybe it was on unlevel ground, so I moved it and the next night it was the same. Every time I rolled over I felt like I was going to fall off the bed, and my husband actually fell off twice while sleeping. The only place that was stable was the middle and sleeping on it by yourself was even worse.
Next day I take the same 1 hour trip back to town to exchange it for something else. I bought a Coleman 22in high and It did not tip at all, so I know it was the bed. Ruin two days of my camping trip messing with this and lack of sleep.
I seen several complaints on Walmart.com about the bed tipping. I call Intex and told them this bed needs researched on why they tip and maybe removed them before some one or a child gets hurt. But they didnt seam to care. The response I got from Intex was, We are truly sorry about what you have been through with one of our products and hope this unfortunate situation does not discourage you from choosing Intex in the near future. And that was it. Intex is a poor company to deal with and has no concern about safety.
