To the elderly. If you are thinking about getting DIRECTV, I would think again. My mother decided to quit her cable and go with DIRECTV about 7 months ago. Unfortunately, she got sick and passed away. I called to have her DIRECTV cancelled and they were very sincere over the phone. I just received the bill and was charged $265.45 for and early cancellation fee. I think this should have been waved or at leasted discussed at the time of service being cancelled. This has made me make my decision to not go with DIRECTV.
