I've been a directv customer for 7 years, the problems started when I moved 1 1/2 years ago and used directv's (We don't care) movers connection, the installer didn't install the satellite that provided my local channels. It took 1 month to get bluegrass to make it right, during that time, I was told I can install it myself, and got the run around from directv and bluegrass, it finally got done. Then I moved again decided not to continue my service with directv, I called to cancel, and requested my final bill and if I agree with charges i'll pay. The (non) customer service rep said we will do. A few days later they charged my credit card without my permission, when I called they stated per my agreement I authorize them to charge my card at will, and store any method of payment I use. Well that put my account overdrawn, directv is bad bad business, I suggest paying with a money order.
