Sears customer service for repair is the absolute worst I've ever encountered! First, our newly-purchased dishwasher (a high-end Kenmore less than a month old) went out abruptly. I called for repair and the first available date was a week out. Not really acceptable in my book, but I took it. Second, I was told the time window was 8am - 5 pm. Also not really acceptable for someone to have to take an entire day off work to wait. Most places give a 4-hour window. Then, the kicker is that on the scheduled day, when no one had arrived by midday, I called to find out when the service person was coming and was told by the person at 1-800-4-MY HOME that our appointment had been deleted out of the system because it had been entered as an installation instead of a repair and that the best they could do was to send someone for the next available appointment, which was another week out! And this after being put on hold several times, transferred around, and cut off once, at which point I had to call back and go through the whole thing again. Completely unacceptable! Very much regretting having purchased our dishwasher through Sears.
