The first thing I want to say is that it has been over 20 years since I have eaten at a McDonald's, because of the disappointing service I continually received at your fast food restaurant. I can honestly say that my most recent visit will definitely be my last.
On October 27, 2026, just after 12:30 a.m., I was returning to Jackson, Michigan, after attending a wedding out of town. I live less than half a mile from the location and pass it on the way home. I ordered a McCrispy Deluxe and a medium fry. I was charged just under $10 for this order. Not only did I have to repeat my order multiple times, but when I arrived home and pulled my order out of the bag, imagine my surprise (not really, par for the course at McDonald's, which is why I stopped ordering there): I was given a spicy McCrispy with pink sauce and 2 pickles and an order of old, cold fries. If I wanted a spicy chicken, I would have ordered it. The chicken was not crispy, but hard, like it had been sitting under the warming lamps. It was overcooked and nearly at the burnt stage.
I was actually angry. I see nothing has changed in over twenty years. I immediately called the location and left a message explaining my situation. Of course, I have not received a call back from the location on West Michigan Avenue. So much for caring for your customers! I rarely eat out; this was a rare occasion, and it was another disappointment.
Why can't you hire people who can actually deliver the order given? How difficult is it to just take an order correctly? Is this the best you can do? Do you really want responses like this over and over? I am requesting a refund of my order. It only seems fair if you choose to hire workers who are unable to do their job correctly and serve their customers cold, old food.
