I purchased 6 appliances from Sears for my new home a few months ago at the Pleasanton California store. Four, all Kenmore, have broken. The gas dryer broke within a week of being put into service. I spent hours on the phone, litteraly. Took them over a month to fix it, with multiple issues recieving the parts for the repair. It broke again. For some reason, Sears seems to think waiting two weeks for a repair is acceptable. It is not. The repair person did get the dryer working again, but I can only use two of the four settings because the other two get too hot. This does not qualify as "fixed" to me. I have since had THREE appointments to get my range, dishwasher and fridge worked on, and beeen STOOD UP ALL THREE TIMES!!!
I want my money back. Plain and simple. I want Sears to take back their worthless products and refund my money. I have complained to customer service... What a joke! And to the department manager where I bought the items. Nothing. They just want to set yet another appointment... I am sure to be stood up yet one more time.
Today, I contact the CA Consumer Fraud branch of the state Attorney General.
