Our dishwasher would not fill up water so I had repairs done. After 3 months and about ~12 uses the dishwasher did not work and would not fill up again. I called Sears to complain that the repair was inadequate and the lady who answered my call said that I could schedule to have a technician check it since it was a recurring problem. What she didn't tell me was that since it was past 90 days of the repair (it was exactly 102 days since the repair) that I had to pay full charge or another $200,00. I only found out about the new charges when the repair technician called me in the afternoon, almost 3 hours past their 8-12 noon appointment. I was really upset because I felt that they had screwed me twice: 1st with the crappy repair and the lady who told me that it would be re-checked for free and 2nd for wasting my day waiting for the technician to arrive just to tell me that I would need to pay $200 again with no guarantees that the dishwasher will be repaired. My advice from all these is not to even bother having your appliance repaired if it is out of warranty. Sears Repair Service is just a crapshoot.
