My mums washing machine is still under warranty and has broken already 3 times in total. (mind you the washing machine was bought in 05) Got a rude service guy out only to accuse my mum that she has damaged the machine. He did not open the machine only drained the hose to find a toothpick and $2 coin. I am sure everyone has come across this, but if a $2 coin damages the machine then it just shows what a poor quality appliance is sold to the consumer. If there is no resolution i will be taking this further. I am soo disgusted in the poor service and quality in the appliances sold. This is a disadvantage to whirlpool. I am demanding that that i get my refund or another washing machine as this shows that a 'dud' was sold... (which i find this highly unlikely the way this matter has been dealt with.
