Gym not too bad until you have a complaint or need to cancel your membership. After 18 months membership my wife cancelled our membership as she was told that the contract had expired and would need to be renewed or cancelled, 3 months later the money was still being taken out of our account so we contacted the gym to be told that there was no record and we would have to go through the whole process again. We then received a demand for the payment of February as the canellation was not received til 8 January I tried to speak to Rob the General Manager, he would not take or return my calls so I wrote to the Cheif Executive. Although his PA acknowledged receipt of my letter no response came and in the meantime Cannons passed our details on to a debt collector. As I didnt want a ccj I paid the full amount but asked for the free mp3 players we had been promised when we joined the gym, I was accused of lying and told there was never such an offer, I have reported them to report them to trading standards and would urge you to do exactly the same as I can see all of the other poor reviews for these people. Both the Chief Executive and Branch Manager have confirmed they have no intention of helping resolve this, I now just want to make as many people aware of how this company treats its customers
