SeaFight New server change equals theft of services and items by BigPoint Internet

In the last few months a online game called Seafight, by BigPoint of Hamburg, Germany has iniated underhanded practices to raise its profit margin by deceptive practices with no recourse to the consumer. Goods and services when purchased are mysteriously lost. Contacting the company or posting in forum gets you automated responses that do not help.

After year of playing and buying over a thousand dollars of virtual currency with real money. I have become uninterested in the events and rewards. I mostly play in lower maps designed for beginners with my maxed out fully equipped boat shooting npc's.

On the last few months a refactoring or server change has been made. This has caused all sorts of things to not work, or be used by other players as advantage. The automated bot level is so bad one can rarely compete with the cheaters.

I recently noticed several very expensive cannons missing. It took me many months to build up to the level I play. I posted a request for help with customer support. I received a smart remark of what exactly are you missing. Now this along with many glitches have been posted on the game forum also. This is something everyone is aware of. What basically happens is, if your not paying attention and a reward of the decks or queens legacy runs out, you loose your cannons along with the reward.

If you dont know, cannons cost to buy, then upgrade. Its a time process along with virtual currency you pay for in hard cash. Although I have attempted to remove my cc info from the game, it keeps reappearing after the daily server reset.

To put a dollar amount on the few cannons I lost. I estimate $150.00 dollars in cash only. This does not include time or trouble.

The fact they wont replace items purchased is outright theft. There is no recourse for the consumer and state and federal agency's are going to need to step in. Since chance is part of the reward system, this is also a form of online gambling and needs to be regulated.

This group of games owned by Big Point was purchased by a outfit of Ted Turner Broad Casting. But the company hides in Germany and could care less about the American players. Turner Broadcasting is getting rich and letting these online thieves do his work for him.

To sum up my complaint. I purchased a online game item of cannins. The items were removed by a game glitch. Big Point refused to return the cannons. There is no recourse for me. Customer support is a joke.
