Scheduled an appointment to fix a 2 year old Kenmore fridge. Was told it would cost $65 for the service call plus, wharever parts that was used.
When the serviceman arrived all he did was to adjust the controlls in the freezer compartment,
Since there was no parts involved I thought he was going to give me a bill for $65, instead I was given a bill of $132.00. Thats $67 for turning up the temperture in the freezer
When I ask him why, his reply was, "I have to charge for instructing the customer".
I called and talked with a local repair company, and they told me that they have never heard of such a thing.
Surely Sears can't be that hard up. I paid with my credit card. I was so upset that I call the credit Department and cancelled both credit cards.
I will never shop or do business Sears again.
