I recently purchased some hardwood flooring online from Home Depot, and the trucking company they use, Estes, promised me a delivery today, 9/7. When I called yesterday to confirm today's delivery, they said it would come on 9/7 (granted, they never called me to set a time; I had to call them). My wife took the day off to be there for the driver, and at about 11 am I called to get an estimated arrival time. They said they meant to call me and that they could not make it today. I said that was not acceptable, and Estes did not even budge to give me an early delivery. They just brushed it off.
I called Home Depot customer service and explained everything to them. After I waited on the phone for half an hour, she told me that she could not do anything for me, so I canceled my order and delivery, and most likely I will never shop there again.
