I ordered hardwood flooring on 6/8. The order was supposed to be delivered at the Glendale Home Depot (NY) by 6/22 for pickup. On 6/23, I called and was told that it was not in the store yet and that I had to wait a couple more days. On 6/28, I called again and was told that it was still on the way. I then called the supplier directly and asked about my order. They had never heard anything about it and said that Home Depot did not contact them about this order. After an hour spent with the supplier, they agreed to send flooring to the store.
On 6/29, Home Depot called and told me that the order had finally shipped and I should expect it by Monday. I called on Tuesday, and the order had not been delivered yet because of the holidays. I called again on Friday and was told that they had problems with the shipper and that finally the order was on its way. Today is already 7/12, and my order is still nowhere to be found. I called today twice already. The first time they hung up on me, and the second time they told me that they needed to find out something and would call me back shortly. Three hours later, they called and told me that they had contacted the shipper and were told that the delivery would be 7/13 at night, hopefully.
I am angry because my mother-in-law is coming on 7/15, and her room is not ready yet. I had to cancel the furniture shipment because there is no flooring yet. The whole situation is just very upsetting. I am very disappointed with Home Depot.
