Past-Due Letter and Calls for an Account I Do Not Have

I got a few calls from U.S. banks over the past couple of weeks, with no voice message left when my voicemail screened their calls and asked who they were. Finally, I received a letter from U.S. Bank saying there is a past-due balance of $1,514 and that I have to make a $41 payment immediately.

I checked my credit report, and I have no U.S. Bank account. I used "Forgot Username" and entered my email, but their website could not find anything about an account I have with them.

They said to mail payment to P.O. Box 790477, St. Louis, MO 63179-0477.
