The Home Depot located on Chimney Rock and West Belfort in Houston, TX, has inconsistent delivery and installation services. Home Depot had promised free delivery and installation of a washing and drying machine, including a pedestal for each appliance. But the delivery/installation crew would not mount the appliances on the pedestals twice. Each time, the items were returned to Home Depot because I could not offer the crews extra cash for installation. Twice they came with excuses in order to obtain extra cash from me.
It has been approximately one month now that Home Depot is holding my pedestals, which were fully paid for. Now I am being informed by a sales agent that I will have to pay money for the pedestal to be installed. This is a completely failed promise from Home Depot. This is unlike Lowe's. I find it difficult to shop at Home Depot in the future.
