We purchased a washer/dryer set from our local Home Depot recently and paid the delivery charge (which we were told could be rebated on special that month). The delivery guys came out and installed the machines, and they were nice and friendly. They did install both machines, but it was only later that we discovered they had installed the hot and cold water connections backwards, so we washed a few loads of colors in hot - uh oh!
A quick call to Home Depot, and they promised someone would be coming out within the week. The guy arrived (a Home Depot employee, not a delivery guy) and fixed the connection easily.
During all of this we processed and received our rebate for the delivery fee as well, so in all it was a great experience.
