I was a Dishnetwork customer for many years. This past year the service declined greatly. The outsourcing bit to India exacerbated the situation.installed HD receiver and never worked properly and had many hours of no service and average time to get service was 10 days. I finally cancelled my service and they refuse to pick up the satellite dish. This huge piece of iron. The contract states it is leased and not mine but they want no responsibility for it. It is an environmental hazzard to dispose of it and a hardship as I am 57 years old and it is too big. They want to charge m $99 to pick it up. But then send me a letter saying we want you back and offer many free things... I said keep the freebies which would cost them more then to pick it up and they refuse. Not to mention I have contacted their executive customer service and they treatment was awful... They said things like "we let you have it all this time' "you let us put it on your roof"... Terrible. I will call the Attorney General's office, and the better business office and I will tell all I can NOT to ever use their service. I will also call the EPA as it is hazzardous waste. They threatened to charge me and they cannot as I have told my credit card folks to not authorize anything any further.
