I signed a contract with Atlas Communications for Dishnetwork 06/08/07. My receiver NEVER worked properly. I contacted dish on numerous ocassions only to be told that my receiver was faulty and that they would send me a new one. This process started in mid October. Dishnetwork was never able to get the receiver, which controlled two of my TVs to work.
I tried to contact Atlas. I was caller #2 and on hold for 45 mins when I hung up. I tried on numerous ocassions to contact Atlas. I counted 16 times before I reached a person. Their automated phone system instructs you to call Dishnetwork if you are experiencing problems. That is exactly what I did.
After fighting with their RUDE and STUPID! Reps and asking for the supervisor, who is just a RUDE and STUPID, I CANCELLED. My contract says that they will provide me with service for 18mos. Since they were unable to give me service for even 6 mos, I do not feel that I should have to pay for their lack of customer service and going without my TV for a week and a half.
I was told by both Dishnetwork and Atlas that I had not given them a chance to fix the problem. My response to that is when you request a technican to help with the problem and there is dead silence on the other end something is terribly wrong. The breech was on the part of Dishnetwork not mine.
