I took my car for a free estimate, because I was having problems with my transmission. My friend rode with the mechanic to test the car, they return in a few minutes and I was told that there was no major problem with my transmission and that the repair would cost 100.00 dollars or so, the mechanic phone me the next day to say that my transmission needed to be rebuilt and that it would cost me 2500.00, so I went to the shop to take my vehicle only to find out that they had sent my torue converter out to be repaired without my premission so there I was with a car that was not driveable, I talk to the owner and he agreed that he would repair the vehicle for 1600.00, I told him that I would have to come up with the money and he told me that he could hold the car for a month and he would phone me when the car was ready. 2 weeks went by still no phone call, and by the time I would get home the shop would be close a few times I would pass by and my car was still on the rack. I still owe on the car and had decided to just do a volantary repo because i could not afford to get the vehicle because all of my money was being spent on a rental car to get to work.
I went and purchase another car, then the shop called my job and talk to one of my co workers and begin to tell her that they were going to place a lien on my car because I refused to take posseion of my car, which was not none of my co worker business. This man had my cell phone number and could have phone me and it should'nt have taken almost two months to repair my car.
On my 1st visit there my friend was asking if they had any cars for sale and the owner went on to tell us how he had a ford explorer that he had repaired and the guy did'nt come back after a month and he placed a lein on the guy's vehicle. So I guess he just got another car to add to his used ripoff car dealership
