I purchased a 2000 Ford Windstar spring of 2001.
Approximately 1 yr later the transmission went out on vehicle, it cost me 2200.00 for repairs & another 173.00 for storage fees until i could get the money to pay for repairs, making grand total of 2373.00 to get car out of transmission shop.
When transmission was in for repair, I discovered vehicle did not have original factory transmission, a sticker on previous transmission stated it had been replaced.
I was not told this at time of purchase, also was told this was a demo car & did a search on car fax with the vin number & discovered it had been a rental car.
This company sold vehicle to me with existing new warranty. I owe a 20.000 balance on this vehicle.
I contacted the dealership & inquired about repairs on vehicle there, they refused. I requested they pay for repair bill, again refused.
Also requested they swap out the vehicle for another vehicle being they didnot inform me of the vehicle, s former transmission problems.
They have been totally cooperative! I, m stuck with a 454.00 pymt & 20.000 balance on a vehicle thats had major problems prior to purchase agreement!
This company has been very dishonest & deceptive. I demand they make it right with me! Re-imburse me for repairs!!! & swap out vehicle for another vehicle % take care of any upside down fees!
I, m a ripped off consumer! They advertise excellent customer service! Another lie! False advertising!
WARNING do-not purchase vehicles from this dealership!!! Dishonest & deceptive!
