Our saga began three weeks ago.
The built in dishwasher came and was not right for our kitchen (no support in figuring this out ahead of time through online ordering)
The first replacement portable dishwasher was damaged on arrival, the second was fine.
The adaptor it came with did not fit our faucet. It also came with a $30 installation kit that is only for built in models..
After much time on the phone, was able to set up an installation appointment to solve the problem. They called the night before saying they would be there between 7 and 11 A.M.
No show, no phone call.
Spent two hours on the phone with sears getting bounced (again) from department to department and put on hold. "no, sir we can't call you back..."
Finally was told that they don't do installation for portables, and we would have to find the correct adaptor ourselves.
3 weeks later, still no functioning dishwasher.
The online, delivery, installation and repair teams all have no idea abou one another's functioning, the number of phone calls, m amount of time spent on hold, and utter inability of a) anyone to help us or b) them even knowing they couldn't help us before sepnding hours on the problem "reviewing the file" etc... Is absolutely mind-numbingly incompetent and disorganized.
