I originally scheduled to have a delivery and installation done of a dishwasher and garbage disposal. I was sent the garbage disposal device by mail, but when the dishwasher was delivered, I was told that the installation had to be scheduled separately. When I called to have the installation scheduled, they did not have a record of my phone number in connection with the order, had no record of the order to install the disposal at the same time as the dishwasher, and had an installation date recorded that I had not scheduled for. The man I talked with apologized, and said that he had now made a note for the two installations to be done together and I scheduled an afternoon off from work in order to be there at the date we agreed on. The afternoon that they were supposed to come, I waited several hours into the 4 hr. Window of time that they said that would arrive in. When I called to check on the status of my delivery, I was told AGAIN that my phone number did not come up in connection with my order, that there was no record of the disposal being installed with the dishwasher and that the delivery date they had was still the one I had already called to say was incorrect. I am now waiting o hear from a "case manager" and have lost a half day of work and sent several hours on the phone being put on hold and being told that everything was being taken care of. I will never again schedule to have anything delivered and installed by Sears. They are totally unreliable and incompetent.
