Poor customer service, poor equipment service

Poor equipment service: Channels sometimes are switched; other programs appear. "Investigation ID" channel to which I previously had access is no longer available. Volume control is inoperative. Service rep who installed program said DirecTV had never been able to get volume to work on its remote control. I'd have to use the previous control I had - doesn't work. Sometimes soap operas appear when I try to get cartoon channels for grandchildren.
