Quick Eraser (Dollar Tree) Disintegrated on First Use, No Refund

I purchased the two of Quick Eraser from a local Dollar Tree. Pulled one out of the pack, wet it and tried to use it to clean a mark on a toilet bowl. Did not use heavy force and it disintegrated in my hand! See pictures for what it looks like. I am retired and on a fixed income and wasting money on a product that doesn't work is not right. How do I get a refund? Called the Dollar Tree where I purchased it and they said they could not help me.
