Directv is garbage. Their promotional offer is offers a good amount of channels but it is only temporary and once your time is up, your bill skyrockets to an unbelievable price. My family downgraded to a lower priced package but this package barely had any channels so we felt like we were paying too much.
We also had some channel package installed when we initially got directv. These channels were not viewable because the signal would constantly break, and when we called in with our problem, they tried to charge us more because THEY didn't set up the dish correctly. What kind of BS is that?!
DON'T GET DIRECTV. It's a ripoff. THEY charge YOU for the correction of THEIR errors. And their quality/customer service is abysmal. What's worse is that they do anything in their power to come off as the best TV service around. They control their reviews so that only the good ones are presented so they come off better than they are. Don't bother with garbage.
