Buying a Greyhound ticket for a family member (Greyhound classifies it as a "gift ticket") results in a mount of charges which nearly doubled the price of an initial offered fare. The fees are not provided upfront and only after several steps of booking $18 $3 gift fees are imposed. After the booking completed another $15 fee for picking up tickets is announced.
Such hidden and unjustified fees should be a banned unacceptable practice.
