Over charged for parts in repai

I needed my air conditioner serviced and so I picked Sears, expecting to be treated in a fair way.

The work was done on 07/05/11

My air conditioner is a Carrier 591anz048000hbaa

The Technician charged me for a fan motor number he39ge237 (h-[e]-39ge237) ($393.90 on the service reciept).

I was not able to find any info from Carrier or Sears on such a part.

But I checked the serial number on the motor he installed, and saw that it was different than the number on the ticket. He installed motor number hc39ge237 (h-[c]-39ge237) (shown to be $255.92 on Sears website:)

Again, I say, I was able to find the part that he installed (on the Sears website) at a cheaper price.

That's a difference of $138.02

I entered a pricing dispute and talked to sears rep. 7/15/11
early afternoon.

I was basically told that Sears used a private vendor. And the vendor can set the price for parts (Sears did not initially tell me this).

But my point is that they installed a different part number than the one listed on the reciept, and since the vendor works for Sears, I should be charged the price that Sears charges for the same part.

The Sears rep. Said price was really $425.00 for that part (as if I should be glad the vender did not overcharge me more for an uninstalled part).
BUT AGAIN! The person was defending an unlisted item that was not installed in my HVAC.

I asked the Sears rep. For the name of the vender, they did not give the information, but claim the company represented Sears.

The pricing dispute representative of Sears repeated ; "Is the air conditioner working properly? To which I replied "that is not the point! I was overcharged! (seeing it is a pricing dispute).

It seems the Sears representative was more interested in protecting the argument of a cheating vender, than protecting the reputation of Sears itself.

Although I am in San Angelo, Texas, the reciept is shown to be from San Antonio, Texas over 200 mi. Away. This should not be the case considering the Sears rep. Told me they used a local vendor.

Should Sears rep's defend companies that overcharge for parts Sears retails at a lower price?
Should Sears respect and treat fairly a customer who has shopped with them over the years?

The resolution I seek, is the fair price difference either in refund or credit voucher ($138.02 tax difference) from Sears, who in my opinion is using a company, that has overcharged and cheated this customer, who sought fairness from relying on the Sears name.
