On 2/23/04, I responded to have this service assist me by placing my background on up to 75 boards without my doing anything further. I then sent an email to cancel the charge against a credit card and to cease all efforts so as to avoid spammers. I sent several emails requesting the cancellation. No replies.
As there was no direct link to connecting to them nor a phone number to call for assistance, I tried webmaster and even went to [email protected] which is how I originally connected to this service. Finally I did get a reply but from jobsearchinfo.com that Putmyresumeonline.com was a legitimate company, not a scam, and that they would communicate my complaint to them. They did, but still nothing from putmyresumeonline.com except an email telling me that I had not selected what boards to put my resume on and so if they didn't hear from me by that afternoon the next morning they would select the boards. I fired all parties an immediate note saying Cease and Desist... Do not do this, but no answer again. The next day I received a confirmation that they went ahead on their own and filed my information on boards of their chosing.
I did get several responses from jobsearchinfo.com which told me that Putmyresumeonline.com did not receive my emails but yet jobsearch could respond when they were copied on my communications. How is it possible that Putmyresumeonline.com couldn't get the email but the copied parties could. Also jobsearchinfo.com finally gave me a phone number saying that the company would respond by giving me a refund against their usual policies. I called that phone number and no one answered, so I left a voicemail. Have I heard back from anyone in two days? No. Do I expect with this sterling performance of communication that I will hear back? No.
