My mother in law was wondering why her phone bills through AT&T were so much I took alook at it and noticed another name on top of the page, USBI I then called AT&T to find out who they are and why they are charging long distance phone calls if she gets them for free ojn her plan. Well, AT&T told me they are a third party phone company and I will have to call them.
I called them and I waitied for 10 minutes then they advised me that they had called the house and asked if they were interested in their long-distance calling service and someone in the household said yes.
We asked everyone who lived there and others just to see who might have said yes. Theya ll said no. So I called back and they told me they had a recording of it and that they will call me with that recording in 7-10 days.
Well today it has been 18 days and nothing I called them again and she said it sometimes may take up tp 30 days to investigate. I advised her that I know what they are doing and if they dont call me with that recording in 3 days then I will take action. Thelady right away stated they will try and call me tomorow... Which was wierd to me because they are only ope from Mon to Friday???
Please check yur phone bills often and take action if you see something that isnt suppose to be there. My mother in law is hispanic and just pays what she sees so please look out for others who wouldnt normally understand what is going on. USBI is a fraud and they will continue to do this.
