T-Mobile - Bay Area Credit Agency
Ripoff Verbally abusive and made various stereotypical and racial comments

It all began because I had a blackberry with Tmobile and use to submit my bills to my job for payment. After a while I thought this was tedious and signed over the pay agreement to the company so they could just pay the bills directly.

After a couple of months I moved on to a new job and an arbitrary person at my job (Not Me) called and had my account cancelled. Now after 5 attempts Tmobile actually allowed someone else authorization to cancel my account. Now in rectifying this situation myself and the AUTHORIZED representative at my job was able to find all this out but not before Tmobile sent my account to the Bay Area Credit Services.

It was at this point we contacted them in order to receive a statement so that we could pay the bill. The Bay Area Credit Service was unwilling t give us the bill because they stated, Tmobile already sent us a bill so we should just pay the money. Clearly we aren't just going to pay an amount without a clear picture of the charges, and we had never received a bill prior to this. Now the rep from my job was actually contacting them on another employees account because they never received his bill either and was frustrated because she had been waiting 3 months for the Bay Area Credit Service to send the bill to no avail. She and the representative from the Bay Area Credit Service got into a verbal back and forth because the BACS rep was unwilling to send a proper statement before getting the money.

In my attempt to clear this I called back approximately 45 minutes later to speak to another rep and hopefully be done with this. It was at that point when the rep I had been speaking to again became belligerent because I was requesting a statement. Then she said she was putting on her supervisor. A gentleman by the name of Mr. Smith answered the line and he immediately started yelling and told me that I should tell him to shut up like I told the other rep. #1 I never got into it with the rep as stated before, my job's rep did. But, I guess they noted my account and the man on the phone began disrespecting me and made racial comments and stereotypical comments about my financial situation not even willing to listen to anything I said.

I have never been in a situation like that before and feel it is deplorable for a company to allow their employees to address customers in that manner. And I know that even though collection agencies are trying to get the money owed, they aren't suppose to threaten, disrespect and especially racially harass you for anything.

As for me this was especially disturbing because I never was even made aware of the money owed because the account had been switched to my company. And it was my company rep who was dealing with them initially. But he accused me and yelled at me. He then hung up at which point I called back to speak to a Supervisor so that I could make a complaint and the Rep who answered Sheila Johnson said she couldn't transfer me to a Supervisor just because I asked, and that there wasn't even a Mr. Smith who worked there. Bottom line any company who would do business with a company who just because they THINK the person is black and unknowing of the situation, thinks they just don't pay bills so as he stated, He can tell I can't afford a checking account, and I probably am going to say that someone stole my identity to get rid of the bill they should be put out of business!!!
