I recently purchased a sofa from Farmers Home Furniture in Easley. Elicia Hughes was the salesperson who handled my transaction. On delivery day, the delivery guys arrived later than scheduled and brought the wrong sofa. If I had not taken a picture of the sofa, they would not have believed me. They left and called back 10 minutes later to let me know that they were taking a lunch break. Now my waiting time for the delivery was getting longer. Another hour and a half later, the delivery guys called to inform me that they were confused. I instructed them to communicate with the salesperson, Elicia Hughes. She called and informed me in a rude and aggressive tone that the sofa I received was the one I purchased and that the driver was on his way out.
I then drove to the store and asked why it was taking an entire day for the delivery and why she was trying to give me something that I did not purchase. She was rude and disrespectful in her response and said, "Things happen, so go home and get ready for your sofa." At that point, I asked for a complete refund. She began to have a temper tantrum, which I did not entertain. I only wanted an apology and was seeking clarification on the delivery. If she has done this to me, she will likely do this to someone else.
