Flowers were ordered from Urban Florist on 3/25/06. Delivery was promised for 3/27/06. Dellivery was not made until 3/29/06 despite expediting and advising Urban Florists that recipient would be at this address only until 3/27.
Recipient no longer at this address after 3/27. No value in delivering flowers after that date.
When intended recipient did not reeceive flowers as requested, I called customer service and asked for a refund. Customer service representative, Cindy, refused to issue a refund, initially offered a $15 gift certificate (on a $52.37 purchase), and finally agreed to re-send the flowers to the current address of the intended recipient. Cindy promised delivery on 4/6/06.
Flowers were not delivered as promised, still not delivered; however, $52.37 was charged against my debit card.
Attempts to call Urban Florist to ask for refund or flowers resulted in message "This number no longer in service." Same message on two different toll-free numbers.
Attempts to contact by e-mail bounced back with message "Mailbox is full."
This company is operating an obvious scam.
