Flowers were ordered to be sent to another state. This probably led the company to believe that I wouldn't know that they had not been delivered. When I called them immediately after seeing that my flowers were not there, they said they could not be delivered because the funeral home had refused them.
I called the funeral home and found out that they had never refused flowers in their history and that they had often gone so far as to call other funeral homes if they were unable to match the name with a family member of the deceased. I called Urban Florist several times with no success.
I finally called another florist in Vancouver to get FTD information only to find out that Urban had been kicked out of FTD and I was advised to sign on to usacomplaints.com.
I was surprised to find that the company was in Vancouver. I ordered the flowers on the internet after googling "Florists near Frederick, MD". They were the first on the list. I will never again order flowers on the net. Best to find out the name of a reputable local florist with a local area code.
