I followed the directions provided by Florist Express: I ordered flowers before 3P.M.in the recipient's time zone and paid the same day delivery fee. Seven hours later—on the same day—I was informed that the flowers had not been delivered to the funeral home. I was promised that the flowers could be delivered to the church prior to the funeral the next day. The next day—well after the time for the funeral—I received an email telling me that the flowers still had not been delivered.
To further insult, I was asked if I wanted the flowers delivered to another address. Since the wake and the funeral were both over, I requested a refund. I was told that a refund would take from 1-3 business days! When I expressed by disappointment with the service to the company, I was promised that the company would generate within 1-3 business day a $25 Florist Express gift certificate that I would have to call to activate. However, in order to activate the gift certificate, I would need my order number! Rip off!
