I work next store to Miss. Carole the owner of Picture Perfect. I see her regularly. She sometimes will say hello and I would as well. One of my co workers got his hair cut over there and she did do a good job, so I thought I could give her a try. I went over to price color highlights and a cut. She broke the prices down for me and said $25.00 for the cut, $65.00 for the color, $60.00 for partial highlight foil. My hair is shoulder length. I thouhgt $150.00 that seems a little steep. I told her I would call around to Orlando and area salons and see if it seemed appropriate, but I would like to see her since I need a regular stylus to see localy.
I called my sister and she said it sounded about right. So I made the appointment. I told her I checked around and I will go ahead and take it.
I had my hair light brown with alot of left over blonde, roots very visable and ready for that to be fixed. I asked to match my light brown root color and add subtle highlights of blonde and a trim.
I walked away with red to blackish brown hair and light highlights. (I did not complain because I was tired and it really looked good on me, I Now feel I have to deal with alot of maintance from here though)
I went to pay and Carole said that will be $180.00. I said what? I made the appointment with you at the price of $150.00.
She then raised her voice at me (and startled me honest) She said "Kim. You will pay me the 180.00 and walk out that door!"
I said I don't understand you quoted me 150.00 she said I will break it down and began giving me off the wall prices 38.00 for the cut 125.00 for the color... I stopped her and said "No I am not paying that you told me 25.00 for the cut and so on..." She then threatened to call the police and for me to pay now. I started crying at this piont because I was shocked and startled. She then went on that I was emotionally dramatic and needed to pay what I owed. I told her to call the police and to please stop yelling at me. She then said what do you think your better than me? Go back to your *ty hourly job next store and pay what you owe. I told no and then her daughter calmed her down and took the inital 150.00 from me, Carole the owner was so irrate she went on saying your so particular and you were here for three hours. I then walked out as she opened the door and told me to not let the door kick me in the * on the way out!
Unbelievable, I have never seen such unproffesional behavior and urge you all to never give her business and refer others to never go to her.
