I made an appointment the day before and the stylist on the phone sounded great. She was helpful, asking me what service I needed done. She ask a lot of questions reassuring me that she really wants to know what I wanted. So, I went to my appointment, the stylist and her manager were very nice. I showed them a picture of what I wanted done to my hair. I was getting a cut and dimensional hair color with ombré highlights. They promised me that they can get that done. THEY ARE ALL TALK! I came in with my hair long... It was almost down to my waist! 5 inches away! Instead the chopped off 5 inches of my hair!!! My hair color was not dimensional at all it was blond highlights! My natural color is dark brown, previously dyed. I asked for a medium chocolate brown color with lowlights and to have it gradually get lighter at the ends. They lied to me that they are able to do ombré hair color. I came out with super blond highlights on half of my head the rest at the bottom was still dark brown and the rest of my hair was just brown. I have an olive skin tone so my blond highlights did not go well with my hair. I was horrified that I just wanted to go home and cry. I've been in the salon for almost 5 hours and I was just tired. I paid $135 for everything. I know I should of said something but I was thinking what can they do now? She chopped off my hair already and my color is just horrible. I was devastated and I just wanted to go home. So the next day I was looking at my hair and I couldnt stand it anymore. I had classes in a few days I was not gonna go to school looking like this. So I called them asking if they can please put a darker toner on my hair. I talked to the manager and she wanted to charge me $30! Usually if you're not happy they would be more than happy to fix it for u. She said the the stylist that did my hair will call me back when she gets to work and she never did. I should of stayed at my usual salon but I was giving Ulta a try. I've bought one thing in their store once and I saw the salon. It looked nice so I wanted to try it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO ULTA! It's the worst salon i've been to! I hope they fix their problems because they are not doing well at all.
