I purchased my Cingular wireless plan in January from an authorized dealer 2 blocks down the street from an actual Cingular store. The plan is known as S Home 600r/5000 which now is no longer available. Little did I know or was informed from the dealer that this plan was NOT nationwide.in the last year I made a trip to Las Vegas used the service and was not charged for roaming. Apparently that is covered even though it is out of state. Since I had Cingular I never had roaming charges or went over my minutes.
In January of this year I traveled to Pittsburgh, PA for about two weeks in the time I was there I made and recieved calls thinking I wasn't roaming. Well about a month later I recieve a bill total of $634.90! I was used to seeing $50. So immediately the following day I call knowing this is wrong. I was informed otherwise. The "rep supervisor" was rude and contradicting. Now my temper is up I posed the question wouldn't you call if you got this bill all of a sudden he replied yes. I tried my best to have it lowered or trade my minutes to lower it he refused. All he was able to offer was a stinkin payment plan. So I got off the phone after of a wasted hour and in the next week sent a letter to corporate. It has been about a month since then and I still haven't heard or recieved zilch. Now my service is temporarly shut off and I was informed from them that because I am on a contract I still will be charged a service fee on top of my current rising bill.
Again the only offer is to make a payment plan but my services will not be turned on until it is paid in full. My main argument out of this all is that the original contract does not have a service plan break down nor did the sales person sit down and rundown the features. Also I feel that they're customer service is limited in help and rude. Someone tell me am I wrong?
