This company is a complete scam. They picked up my merchandise three days late and gave an incomplete bill of lading. They said the shipment would arrive in two weeks, but it did not. I got a call from the dispatcher about two and a half weeks later mentioning that the shipment would be there in several days. Four weeks come up and I begin to become very suspicious with this company.
This is where I find the ugly truth about what was going on. I was able to get the drivers cell phone so I called him up. He mentioned that he was not working for the company any more, and that he quit three weeks ago. I asked him why? I come to find out that the truck that came to pick up my merchandise was a reported stolen truck.
My shipment was dumped in Georgia. The president (con artist) of the Mustang Van Lines assured me that he was not aware of these events. I had to fly down there myself to see what condition my things were in. Please if any one decides to use a moving company. Do some homework before hiring some one to move all your precious belongings. Make sure that you check them out with the Better Business Bureau and see if there are any complaints against the company.
Also it is wise to ask for at least three referrals, if the company can't provide any do not use them. My advice is do not use the internet to find a moving company, especially in FLORIDA, which to me has the most moving company scams by far of any state. No worries though I think this company is no longer doing business. Luckily I was able to recover my shipment. I have contacted the attorney General in Florida and I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau of South East Florida.
