My installation of bamboo flooring was terrible. I used the contractors recommended by Lumber Liquidator - what did I know? The price kept going up and up, things were added on. I didn't have a choice, I felt, because it was in the middle of the job. It's been 1 yr and 5 months, and the bamboo flooring in one room (converted garage) started to buckle (huge upheaval, like a mountain), and the boards are cupping. I called HSS, and was repeatedly and rudely told that my warranty had expired after 12 months (Jan 5). I can see that the installers didn't leave an expansion gap at the door (and didn't do anything about the door sill going outside) - just made it flush with the door frame. I remember they did the leveling and sealing, put a large fan on it, and the next day started gluing down the flooring. Everything I have read about glue downs says it needs to dry for 3 days. They were only here for 4 days total, and that included knocking down a wall!
