Mike Baile of Bamboo Maui sold material, Stand Bamboo that we feel is defective. His recommended installer Steven Meyer of Free Style Flooring installed flooring with half the nails, which caused the flooring to cup. Both Bailie and Meyer's came out twice to see the job and now is leaving us hanging. We paid $400 for a certified person to see the cupping and determined that the problem was the nailing pattern. The nail pattern should of been every 6-8 inches on the lengths and 3 inches from the end. It came out 13-18 inches apart on the length and 6-7 from the ends, which caused the cupping. We are very unhappy with Bamboo Maui's service and still trying to solve the problem. There is one more customer that bought the same material, used the same installer and has same problem, also with no response from Mr. Bailie or Mr. Meyer.
